In The Bag offers reliable, personal and custom care for your pet(s) in the stress-free environment of their own home.
In addition to extended vacation service, we offer daily dog walks and/or overnight visits in most areas. Our team includes a specialist in birds, reptiles and small animals. We welcome fish and exotic pets, too. Each of our services is described below.
In The Bag can visit your home up to three times a day while you are on vacation. A standard visit is ½ hour in length during which we follow your instructions to adhere to your pet care routine as closely as possible.
Every dog requires proper physical and mental stimulation. When you can't be around or are too busy to give your dog the exercise they need, we will come by and take them out for a refreshing walk. Dog walks last 20-25 minutes (30 min. total visit - check water, food, etc.)
A wonderful alternative to a kennel, overnight stays are offered 7 days a week for pets that require human company to settle in! Visits begin around 8pm and conclude the following morning between 6am and 7am. The service includes caring for your pet(s), checking mail, gathering newspapers, watering plants, and performing an overall house check.
Stuck in traffic? Meeting ran long? We offer flexibility to provide established clients peace of mind when last-minute problems prevent you from getting home on schedule.
We realize that many pet owners are firmly committed to their brand of pet food. We gladly offer established clients pick-up and delivery of your pets' brand for a $5.00 service fee.

Pet Sitting Rates
$15.00 First visit of the day (Includes up to two pets)
$12.00 Subsequent visits on the same day
$ 3.00 Additional Pet Fee (beyond 2)
**All visits are ½ hour. If additional time is required, client will be billed $7.50 per 15-minute increment.
$50.00 Overnight Visits
**Pet sitter stays overnight in your home. Guaranteed hours are 9pm - 6am. Must be scheduled at least two weeks prior to departure.
Birds/Fish/Exotics - rates vary according to needs. Please contact us for an estimate.
$15.00 per walk, add $3 for each additional dog
$5.00 Additional dog (beyond 2)
add $5. There is no guarantee there will be an opening in our day. We recommend having your dog on a regular walk schedule to secure availability.
Visits scheduled on New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day incur a Holiday fee of $20.00/day.
Call or email and we will schedule a FREE one time, half hour registration session to meet with you and your
pet(s). During this time we will:
- Get detailed information about their personality and your needs.
- Review our policies, services and fees.
- Complete a service agreement with veterinarian care authorization.
Please have the following ready:
- Two (2) keys, ready and tested
- Make sure name tags, shots and flea treatments are up to date.
